This week I have been considering the first impressions we give out and receive form our services. Although in an ideal world, we want to be constantly happy, upbeat and ready to be as helpful as possible and be the best possible person we could ever be. But what happens when we aren’t feeling at our best? When we are tired, already dealt with a difficult customer or when we are thinking about different situations. We create a sometimes hostile environment when then doesn’t put the customer at ease which then affects the service and performance we are trying to deliver. If our customers can not relax around us, we are never going to get the best outcome from the session, be it a massage, class or personal training session. I am not saying I am perfect and neither our my staff but we will aim to be on top form as much of the time as humanly possible and give the best first impression that we can.
