Mertons best small business

This week, Shape 2 fit was nominated as one of Merton’s best small businesses. After the initial excitement and thanks, I found out I had to fill out an application form that has left me very stressed and wondering whether we deserve to win at all. It states easy enough, answering the simple questions about products and services but then it takes a whole new turn, detail your marketing plan, and what effect do you have on the local economy? I want to write across the page, I do not know!

What I do know, is that you, our customers have found us, liked us and most importantly came back and seen us week in week out for the past 18 incredible months. So if that entitles us to an award, please do bring it on but please don’t ask me to detail the staff procedures and financial planning for 2013!

When I started Shape 2 fit, I had one goal in mind, provide the best possible health and fitness service to as many people as possible but remembering to treat every customer as an individual, remembering them and their goals, treating them and only them. I did not want to jump through hoops, navigate my way around ten pages of questionnaires, attend award ceremonies, I just to do the best for my customers.

Shape 2 fit third birthday is coming around the corner at an alarming rate, over the past three years I can see the rapid growth we have seen, how we have developed and established ourselves, but we always keep in mind, this is all down with our customers in mind. Our customers are our focus, drive and ambition and without them, we wouldn’t be where we are, so please do get in touch and help me out, why should we win this award?
