I have attended Lauren Pearson’s Body Conditioning Class on a Thursday evening at Holy Cross Church Hall for the last six months.  Although I was initially reluctant to go, having not done any regular fitness exercise for some time, I found that this class was friendly and not intimidating in any way.  Lauren is a good instructor who strives to encourage and spur people on, she is never critical or bullying – and we do enjoy the impromptu film reviews and a bit of a laugh in between the hard work!  I certainly know that I have done my hour’s exercise after it.  I have also recently joined the Pilates class, which I also found excellent for stretching and strengthening muscles.  I am much looking forward to resuming both classes after the summer break. – Mary H, Group exercise classes
